Scheduling

Set a weekly timetable for your lights, pump, or gate — and let SmartRemote handle it automatically. No cloud, no subscription, no maintenance.

Overview

Set it once. It runs forever.

SmartRemote's scheduler lets you define exactly when each switch turns on and off — down to the minute, on any combination of days. Once saved, the schedule runs on the device itself. No internet connection required, no cloud service involved. Even if your Wi-Fi drops or the power goes out, your schedules survive and resume automatically when power returns.

  • Daily or day-of-week schedules per switch
  • Schedules stored on the device — no cloud dependency
  • Survives power cuts without losing configuration
  • Independent schedule per switch
  • Override manually at any time without losing the schedule
  • Set and updated via the web dashboard
Step by step

How to use it

1
Open the web dashboard

Log in from any browser. The schedule editor is in the settings panel for each switch.

2
Choose your switch

Select which switch you want to schedule — your lights, pump, gate, or whatever you've named them.

3
Set your on and off times

For each day of the week, enter the time the switch should activate and deactivate. Use the same time every day, or set different times per day.

4
Save and forget

Click Save. The schedule is stored on the device immediately. SmartRemote follows it automatically from this point on.

In practice

An example week

Here's what a typical weekly schedule might look like for a property with outdoor lights and an irrigation system. The gate is on quick trigger mode — you control it manually via WhatsApp or the app when needed.

You can set up something exactly like this in under five minutes.

Example weekly schedule

Outdoor lights switch off

Every day at 06:00

Outdoor lights switch on

Every day at 18:30

Irrigation runs for 30 min

Mon, Wed, Fri at 07:00

Every night at 22:00

Security light switches off

Every day at 06:30

Common questions

Frequently asked

Schedules are stored in the device's own memory, not in the cloud. When power returns, SmartRemote resumes its schedule automatically — no reconfiguration, no app, no intervention needed.

Yes, at any time. If the lights are scheduled to come on at 18:30 but you want them on earlier, trigger them via WhatsApp, Telegram, the app, or the web dashboard. The schedule continues as normal from the next scheduled event — a manual override doesn't erase the schedule.

Yes. Each of the three switches has its own independent schedule. Your lights can follow a completely different timetable from your irrigation pump or security light.

You can set on and off times to the minute. If you want your security light to come on at 17:47, that's exactly when it will come on.
